Mike Dobesh

Mike Dobesh has an extensive work experience in the fire department. Mike started their career in 1996 as an Assistant Chief at the City of St. Louis Park and held this role until 2012. In 2012, they joined the City of Richfield as an Assistant Chief and later became the Fire Chief in January 2021. Additionally, since 2017, they have also served as the Vice President at MnFIRE.

Mike Dobesh completed their Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training/Trainer from Gustavus Adolphus College between 1987 and 1991. Mike later pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Public Administration from Hamline University, earning their degree between 2004 and 2007.
