Jenna Bowman has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Jenna started their career as an Advocacy Coordinator at the Alzheimer's Association Minnesota-North Dakota in 2009, where they worked until 2011. In the same year, they also had a short stint as an Analyst at Robert Half International.
In 2011, Jenna joined the Grand Avenue Business Association as a Program & Advocacy Manager and held this position until 2014. Subsequently, they became the Executive Director at the Rochester Downtown Alliance, where they served from 2014 to 2018.
In 2018, Jenna joined the City of Rochester, MN. Jenna initially worked as a Communications & Engagement Manager until 2021, and then transitioned to the role of Strategic Communications & Engagement Director, a position they currently hold. Overall, Jenna has consistently demonstrated their expertise in strategic communications, engagement, and advocacy throughout their career.
Jenna Bowman's education history begins in 2006 when they attended St. Catherine University. Jenna completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in 2010, majoring in Sociology with minors in Sales and Theology. In 2015, Jenna obtained a Certificate from the University of St. Thomas in the Institute for Executive Director Leadership. More recently, in 2021, they enrolled in the John Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs to pursue a Masters degree in Public Management, which they are currently pursuing. Additionally, in October 2019, Jenna obtained a certification as a Dare to Lead Trained individual from Dare to Lead™ Trained institution.
