Marta Makuch

Marta Makuch currently serves as the Coordinator of Recreation and Wellbeing for the City of Rockingham, a position held since August 2020. Marta has also undertaken roles such as A/Coordinator of Cultural Development and the Arts and A/Manager of Community Capacity Building during this time. Marta is the Chair of the Local Government Professionals WA Volunteering Network, starting in October 2021. Previous experience includes community development leadership roles at the City of Belmont WA from November 2013 to July 2020, and various positions at Volleyball WA from February 2007 to October 2013, including Operations Manager. Marta began their professional career as a Kindergarten Teacher at Fundacja Familijny Poznan in 2005. Marta holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu.
