Josh Eggleston has a diverse background with experience in finance, planning, business operations, and program management. Josh has held various roles at different organizations throughout their career. From 2015 to present, Josh has been with the City of Salem, serving as the Chief Financial Officer since February 2022. Prior to that, they were the Interim Chief Financial Officer and Budget Officer. Josh started their career at the City of Keizer as a Planning Commissioner from November 2015 to September 2018. Josh also co-owned and managed Lazoolee, a business operations company, from August 2011 to January 2018. In addition, they worked at the City of Hillsboro as a Facility Supervisor and Seasonal Utility Worker from 2008 to 2015. Before that, Josh was a Supply Chain Manager/Controller and Quality Assurance Manager/Purchasing Manager at Mastercraft Furniture, Inc. from October 2011 to April 2015. Josh began their career as a Program Assistant at the Boy Scouts of America, Cascade Pacific Council from June 2002 to August 2004.
Josh Eggleston completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business at Corban University in 2019. Prior to that, they received their Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Economics from George Fox University, where they studied from 2007 to 2010.
