Lauren Driscoll, AICP has a diverse work experience in various planning and development roles. Lauren served on the American Planning Association (APA) National Board of Directors as a Member, providing leadership to the organization and its 40,000 members. Lauren also worked as the Director of Community and Development Services for the City of Salina. Prior to that, they were the Director of Community Development at Matanuska Telephone Association and Chief of Planning Services at Matanuska-Susitna Borough. Lauren's achievements include developing comprehensive transportation planning programs, housing plans, and strategic plans, as well as managing projects and facilitating grant administration. Lauren also has experience in economic development and project administration through their roles at the City of Hastings and Blue Bridge Ventures.
Lauren Driscoll, AICP, holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Public Administration with an emphasis on Community Development Planning from Grand Valley State University. Lauren also completed a one-year study abroad program at Helia Polytechnic in Finland, focusing on Business/Corporate Communication. Additionally, Lauren has obtained several certifications including the AICP from the American Institute of Certified Planners in May 2014. Lauren is also certified in ICS/NIMS 100,200,300,400,700,964 from FEMA. Apart from these certifications, Lauren has a certification in Public Participation from IAP2 and is a graduate of the Senior Executive Institute Program from ICMA.
