Amy Morton

Amy Morton, PHR, serves as a Senior Analyst in the Benefits Division for the City of San José since April 2016. Previously, Morton was an HR Business Partner and Account Manager at ADP from March 2015 to April 2016, where responsibilities included HR compliance and various HR services. Additionally, Morton held roles as People Services Director and Regional Human Resources Manager at Commune Hotels & Resorts, contributing comprehensive HR support across multiple hotels in the Silicon Valley region. Early career experiences include positions as a Human Resources Coordinator and Sales Coordinator at Joie de Vivre Hospitality, along with serving as a Front Desk Host at Hotel Montgomery. Morton earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Business from the University of Oregon and achieved Professional in Human Resources certification in 2011.
