Ed Bautista, CFEE, currently serves as the Interim Project and Communications Manager for the City of San José, where responsibilities include project initiation, planning, and communication strategies. Additionally, as the Emergency Communications Manager, Bautista develops communication strategies for food and necessities resources in San José and Santa Clara County. As Chief Creative and Strategic Officer at Bautista Event Specialists Team since 2015, Bautista has led various event and project strategies. Involvement with the Chicago Festival Association as a board member and the International Festivals & Events Association as a member of the President's Council showcases ongoing commitment to the events industry. With over 30 years of experience in various roles at the City of San José, Bautista has significantly contributed to major events and communications initiatives, culminating in a successful career in public relations, project management, and event production. Bautista holds a BA in Public Relations from San Jose State University.
