M.p.p. Nestor Veloz-Passalacqua M.l.s.

Nestor Veloz-Passalacqua, M.P.P., M.L.S., currently serves as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager for the City of San Luis Obispo, a position held since February 2023. Previously, Nestor held various roles at the County of San Luis Obispo from November 2016 to January 2023, including Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager, Whole Person Care Program Manager, and Administrative Services Officer II. Academic credentials include a Master of Legal Studies focused on Compliance & Legal Risk Management from the University of Arizona and a Master's degree in Public Policy, along with a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Ethnic Studies, both from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Nestor’s extensive experience also includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at California Polytechnic State University and administrative support at the California Department of Social Services.
