Christopher Dishlip

Christopher Dishlip, PE, LEED AP, serves as the Assistant Director of Public Works for the City of Santa Monica, overseeing more than 200 staff across various divisions including Architecture Services, Engineering, and Resource Recovery. With a career spanning over two decades, Christopher has held key positions including Capital Program Manager, Facilities Maintenance Manager, and Senior Civil Engineer, successfully managing substantial budgets and completing numerous projects totaling nearly $400 Million. Prior experience includes roles with the City of Los Angeles, where responsibilities encompassed the construction of significant police facilities. Christopher holds an Executive Program Management certificate from UCLA Anderson School of Management, a Master's degree in Construction Management from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona.
