Janelle Kellman

Janelle Kellman, Esq. is a seasoned legal and environmental professional with extensive experience in leadership roles focused on coastal resiliency and climate adaptation. As the Founder and CEO of the Center for Sea Rise Solutions since May 2021, Janelle has been pivotal in fostering a global community dedicated to addressing sea level rise challenges. Current positions include membership in BCDC Bay Adapt’s Local Electeds Regional Task Force and service on the Sausalito City Council, where Janelle previously held the title of Mayor in 2022. Additional contributions include being a Board member at Marin Clean Energy and involvement with the Marin County BayWAVE Executive Steering Committee, focusing on regional sea level rise preparedness. Janelle's entrepreneurial spirit is reflected in founding and advising various startups, including KitOrder.com and envite, while academic credentials include a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a Master's from the University of Oxford in Environmental Management.
