Starla Blake

Starla Blake is an experienced Police Communications Officer currently serving with the City of Schertz since March 2018, where responsibilities include leadership and support for over 50 employees handling emergency and non-emergency calls, training in CJIS and TCIC, as well as course development for ongoing employee education. Previous roles include dispatcher at Texas A&M University-San Antonio and multiple positions at the City of San Antonio, culminating in the role of Police Communications Assistant Manager. Starla Blake holds a Master's degree in Sociology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University-San Antonio, along with an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Palo Alto College and a High School Diploma from Judson High School.
