Nate Reinhardt

Nate Reinhardt is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in municipal finance management. Currently serving as Finance Director for the City of Shakopee, MN since November 2019, Nate oversees the management of the city's financial assets in compliance with state laws and industry standards. Prior roles include Finance Director for the City of Brooklyn Center and the City of Waseca, where Nate provided strategic leadership and managed multi-million dollar budgets. Additionally, Nate held a position as Assistant Financial Services Director at Carver County, supervising key financial functions and preparing comprehensive financial reports. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Accounting from Metro State University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Nate also contributes to the profession as the Past President of the Minnesota Government Finance Officers Association.
