Eric Taylor

Eric Taylor, MPA, currently serves as the City Manager for the City of Social Circle since July 2021. Taylor has extensive experience in municipal government, including a role as Senior Assistant City Manager for the City of Johns Creek, where responsibilities included high-level administration and operational support for a population of approximately 82,000 residents. Previous positions include City Administrator for the City of Smyrna, where the management of daily operations and municipal services was key, and Finance Officer for the City of Avondale Estates, overseeing accounting and finance activities. Taylor's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration focused on Public Management and Finance from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Earlham College.
