Alyssa Muto

Alyssa Muto currently serves as the City Manager for the City of Solana Beach since May 2024. Prior to this role, Alyssa held various positions within the City of San Diego from March 2016 to April 2024, including Director of the Sustainability and Mobility Department and Interim Planning Director. Alyssa's experience also includes a tenure as Senior Project Manager at RECON Environmental, Inc., and Project Manager at BRG Consulting, Inc. Additionally, Alyssa spent several years with the County of San Diego as Planning Manager and held earlier roles in land use planning and environmental consulting. Alyssa earned a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in City Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Diego State University.
