Joseph Lim

Joseph Lim, MPA, AICP, is an experienced professional in urban and regional planning with a robust background in community development and leadership. Currently serving as the Community Development Director for the City of Solana Beach since April 2018 and as a Professional Athlete for the American Cornhole League since September 2021, Joseph has held various significant roles, including City Planner for the City of Poway and Interim Development Services Director for the City of Hesperia. Previous experience spans over two decades in planning and economic development, notably as Director of Development Services for the City of Indio and Planning and Economic Development Director for the City of Compton. Joseph holds a Master of Public Administration from National University and a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, along with several relevant certifications.
