Meredith Knudsen

Meredith Knudsen is an experienced arts and culture professional currently serving as the Arts and Culture Coordinator for the City of Santa Rosa since July 2024 and a Commissioner for the Cultural and Fine Arts Commission for the City of Sonoma since April 2023. As the Founder of Sonoma Creative Studio since January 2010, Meredith has demonstrated a commitment to fostering creativity in the community. Prior roles include Public Art Coordinator for the City of Napa, Director of Events and Marketing for the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Board Member for Response Health, focusing on healthcare in underserved areas. Additional leadership experience includes serving on the Board of Directors for the John Dau Foundation, contributing to healthcare initiatives in South Sudan. Earlier career highlights involve managing community programs as West Coast Client Relations and Event Director for Wix.com. Meredith holds a Bachelor's degree in Art and Design from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and has furthered education through studies in London and at Lorenzo De Medici Art School.
