Gary Hegland

Gary Hegland is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the broadcasting and golf management industries. Currently serving as Program Coordinator and Golf Shop Manager for the City of South Bend since April 2017, Gary manages daily operations at Elbel Park Golf Course, overseeing promotions, tournaments, and leagues. Gary has also held various on-air positions at Classic Rock 97.7 WYXX since March 2019, transitioning from Afternoon Host to Weekend Host. Prior experience includes managing and enhancing operations for LeSEA Broadcasting's international shortwave and FM stations, as well as a successful tenure as an On-Air Personality at Federated Media and Niles Broadcasting Company. Gary holds degrees from Ball State University and Indiana University South Bend.
