Lee MacKey

Lee Mackey is an experienced safety codes officer currently employed by the City of Spruce Grove since January 2021. In addition to this role, Lee has been the owner/operator of KB BUILDERS since January 2020. Previous positions include serving as a technical compliance coordinator at the Safety Codes Council from June 2021 to March 2022, and a carpenter specializing in millwork at Black Gold Regional Division No. 18 from December 2014 to December 2019. Lee's expertise also encompasses project management at Aquarian Renovations and site supervision/project coordination at Daytona Homes Master Builder. Lee's early career included positions as a carpenter and assistant site superintendent at Delnor Construction. Educational qualifications include a journeyman carpenter designation from the Carpenters Training Institute and a degree in Programmer/Analyst from the College of the North Atlantic, complemented by additional training from the Alberta Safety Codes Council in 2021.
