Tony Martin

Tony Martin is an experienced professional in emergency communications and public safety. Currently serving as the Director of Emergency Communications at Hennepin County Sheriff since September 2019, Tony oversees 911 emergency services for 39 cities, managing dispatching for multiple law enforcement agencies and fire departments. Additionally, Tony has worked as a 911 Public Safety Telecommunicator for the City of St. Louis Park since January 2014, where responsibilities include answering emergency calls and managing radio communications. Prior experience includes serving as PSAP Manager and Dispatch Supervisor for the City of Edina from 2001 to 2019, focusing on the management of the 911 Emergency Communications Center. Tony's career began with the role of Community Service Officer, handling various public safety tasks. Educational background includes studies at Normandale Community College and Saint Louis Park High School.
