Omayra Mata

Omayra Mata is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in municipal development and policy analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Analyst for the City of Terrell since November 2019, Omayra has also held various roles within the same organization, including Municipal Development Analyst and Administrative Assistant in the City Manager's Office. Prior experience includes working as a Makeup Artist at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. and as a To-Go Specialist at Olive Garden. Omayra began their career in a support role as a Student Assistant at Texas Tech University Libraries. Omayra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from Texas Tech University and is a graduate of Terrell High School.
