Scott Tekavec has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Scott started their career in 1994 at Lewan Technology in Denver. After four years, they joined the City of Westminster in 1998 and worked there until 2007. Scott then joined the City of Thornton in 2007, first as a Systems Administrator II and later as a Systems Engineer. In 2017, Scott moved up to become the Technology Services Manager, responsible for managing the organization's Network Services Division. In 2019, they briefly served as the Interim Information Technology Director before being officially appointed to the role in November.
Scott Tekavec obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University, where they studied from 2011 to 2013.
