Krystina Hunter is an experienced health and wellness professional currently serving as the Health and Wellness Coordinator for the City of Thunder Bay since October 2016. In this role, Krystina coordinates the implementation of the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace and leads various programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee mental health and wellness. Prior experience includes serving as a Health Educator for York Region, where Krystina provided strategic communications support and promoted health programs, and as the Public Education Coordinator/Project Coordinator for the Alzheimer Society of Thunder Bay. Additionally, Krystina has experience as a Health Promotion Intern and as a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Public Health in Health Promotion from the University of Alberta, an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Lakehead University, and current studies towards a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Yorkville University.
