Calvin Kerns

Calvin Kerns has extensive experience in engineering, firefighting, and public works, currently employed as an Engineer and Firefighter with the City of Urbana, Illinois since March 2016. In addition to these roles, Calvin Kerns serves as the Secretary for IAFF Local 1147, a position held since January 2020. Prior experience includes working as an Emergency Medical Technician Basic at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from March 2016 to August 2021 and serving as an Engineer with the Savoy Fire Department from October 2014 to July 2019. Calvin Kerns is an alumnus of Parkland College.
