Gary Killacky is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in energy systems and project management. Currently serving as the Chief Engineer for False Creek Energy with the City of Vancouver since June 2009, Gary oversees the commissioning and operation of a district heating system for Vancouver's Olympic Village, while also focusing on safety and greenhouse gas mitigation. Gary has held significant roles in various organizations, including Principal at Pandora Consult since August 2017, where responsibilities include energy efficiency audits and power quality analysis, and previously as Chief Technical Officer at both Pandora Consult Inc. and Legend Power Systems Inc. Gary's career also includes vital experience as a Control Engineer Operations at Powergen, managing a multi-fuel power generation plant. Gary holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Greenwich, specializing in electrical generation and transmission.
