Toyah Shakespeare

Toyah Shakespeare is an experienced media and communications professional currently serving as the Acting Media and Digital Communications Advisor and Communications Officer at the City of Wanneroo since April 2022. Prior to this role, Toyah held a position as a Research Officer at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet of WA from July 2017 to March 2022. Additional experience includes roles as a Journalist at Seven West Media and Community News, as well as Senior Journalist positions at News Corp Australia and West Australian Newspapers Limited. Toyah holds a Bachelor of Mass Communication with a focus on Journalism from Murdoch University, completed between 2008 and 2010.
