Dennis McBride

Dennis McBride currently serves as the Mayor of Wauwatosa, a position held since April 2020. Prior to this role, McBride contributed to the community as a volunteer from January 2015 to April 2020 and served as Alderman for the 4th District of Wauwatosa from April 2008 to January 2018, including two terms as President of the Wauwatosa Common Council from 2012 to 2016. McBride has a background in law, having worked as a Senior Trial Attorney with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission from September 1991 to October 2015, and as a Law Clerk to U.S. District Judge Terence Evans early in the career from September 1980 to September 1981. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from New York University, a Master of Public Administration from Princeton University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Additionally, McBride coordinated the Hedge School at Milwaukee Irish Fest from January 2006 to August 2016.
