Lori Chassee is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in victim advocacy, public service, and law enforcement. Since June 2014, Lori has served as the Victim Assistance Coordinator for the Catholic Diocese of Joliet, focusing on healing services for victims of abuse and coordinating with civil authorities. As an Experienced Advocacy Consultant, Lori provides training in law enforcement practices and grant writing. Lori has held a prominent role as Alderman First Ward/Deputy Mayor in West Chicago since 2001, overseeing public affairs and finance committees. Previously, Lori was the Executive Director of the Kane County Child Advocacy Center, leading a multidisciplinary team in victim advocacy and program management. Lori’s tenure as a Senior Criminal Investigator at the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office involved pioneering interdisciplinary approaches to child abuse intervention, notably contributing to the establishment of the DuPage County Children's Center. Educational credentials include a B.S. in Criminology from the University of Albuquerque, along with studies at Western Illinois University and DePaul University.
