Roberta Raper

Roberta Raper is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in municipal finance management spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Finance and Acting Assistant City Manager for the City of West Sacramento since February 2018, Roberta previously held key financial leadership positions including Finance Director at the Sacramento Area Council of Governments and the City of Napa. Roberta's expertise encompasses budget oversight, accounting, financial reporting, and strategic planning, evidenced by successful management of sizable budgets and team leadership. Notably, Roberta has received recognition for excellence in financial reporting during a tenure with Placer County Water Agency. Academic qualifications include an M.B.A. from Sacramento State College of Business and a B.S. in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.
