Ying Lin

Ying Lin has been working as a GIS Analyst for the City of White Rock since May 2000. Prior to this, Ying was an Urban Planner and Designer at the Shanghai Urban Planning and Research Institute from September 1990 to September 1998. Ying holds an Advanced Diploma in GIS from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a BE in Urban Design and Planning from Tongji University. In the role of GIS Analyst, Ying is responsible for developing GIS applications using various software and programming languages. At the Shanghai Urban Planning and Research Institute, Ying specialized in urban design and community design, focusing on long term and short term planning.
