Jake Lambert

Jake Lambert is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Williamsburg, Virginia, since September 2023. Previously, Jake was a Staff Attorney in the Office of the Executive Secretary at the Supreme Court of Virginia and held various positions as Staff Attorney at the Virginia State Crime Commission and the Commonwealth’s Attorneys’ Services Council. Jake began a legal career as an Associate Attorney at Geddy, Harris, Franck & Hickman, LLP and served as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney at the York-Poquoson Commonwealth's Attorney's Office. Earlier experience includes roles as an Assistant Public Defender and legal internships with the Department of Veterans Affairs, IRONMAN, and the Montgomery County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office. Jake Lambert holds a Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Virginia Tech.
