Paul Riely is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in emergency services and utilities management. Currently serving as Battalion Chief for the City of Williston, North Dakota, since July 2014, Paul holds multiple certifications, including Firefighter 1 and 2, Crash Rescue, HazMat Operations, and Fire Officer 1 and 2. Paul received recognition as Williston City Firefighter of the Year in 2018 and was honored with The American Legion Firefighter Certificate of Commendation the same year. In addition, Paul has worked with Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. since July 2008 in various roles, including Field Operations Supervisor and Pipeline Safety Specialist, focusing on leadership, compliance, and safety standards. A former Airborne Paratrooper in the US Army from 1995 to 1999, Paul holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Dickinson State University and a certificate in Cooling and Heating Technology from North Dakota State College of Science.
