Cedric Cox

Cedric Cox, Sr. currently serves as the Assistant Director of Economic Opportunity and Community Investment for the City of Winter Haven since February 2024, leading various departmental initiatives involving research, data analysis, economic development, and customer service. Previously, Cedric held the position of Housing Administrative Supervisor with Polk County BoCC from May 2019 to February 2024, focusing on the implementation of affordable housing programs. Prior to that role, Cedric was the Director of HUD & Supportive Housing Programs at Peace River Center from September 2004 to May 2019, managing HUD-funded properties and various housing assistance programs. Cedric holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from the Community College of the Air Force and a certification in Staff Support Administration from 3300 Technical Training Wing at Keesler AFB.
