Grant Simons

Grant Simons is a civil engineer currently working for the City of Wyoming, MI, since August 2022, where responsibilities include reviewing site developments for compliance with city standards and overseeing municipal maintenance projects. In addition, Grant serves as a staff engineer at the Kent County Drain Commissioner's Office since March 2021, focusing on stormwater infrastructure compliance and surveying county drains. Previous experience includes teaching English as a second language at the 35th Rajaprajanugroh School, collaborating on irrigation system design at Addis Ababa University with Ethiopian engineering students, and serving as an instructional aide at the University of Michigan. Grant's educational background includes a BSE in Environmental Engineering and a BS in Environment from the University of Michigan, completed in 2019.
