Ryan Blackerby

Ryan Blackerby, MBA, has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Ryan is currently serving as the Deputy Director of Finance at the City of Yucaipa, where they have been since 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Finance Manager / Accounting Manager at the same company from 2020 to 2023.

Before joining the City of Yucaipa, Ryan worked at the City of Modesto as a Senior Financial Analyst from 2017 to 2020 and as a Financial Analyst from 2014 to 2017. Ryan also gained experience as a Financial Writer (Contract Position) at Mometrix Media, LLC from 2012 to 2014.

Furthermore, Ryan has worked at DaVita as an Assistant Facility Administrator from 2011 to 2012 and as a Revenue Integrity Representative from 2010 to 2011. Ryan began their career at Wells Fargo as a Financial Credit Manager in 2009 and worked as a Gift Records Coordinator at La Sierra University from 2007 to 2009.

Ryan completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from La Sierra University, where they attended from 2003 to 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, Ryan pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance from La Sierra University, which they completed from 2008 to 2010. These educational achievements have provided Ryan with a solid foundation in the areas of business administration and finance, making him well-equipped for professional endeavors in these fields.
