Luis Gonzalez

Luis Gonzalez is an experienced professional in environmental education and Capoeira instruction. Currently serving as Associate Director of Environmental Education at City Parks Foundation since June 2013, Luis has developed a robust career teaching Capoeira at various institutions, including Afro Brazil Arts Inc and Brooklyn Boulders LLC. Luis has also held roles in environmental education at Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Sephardic Jewish Community Center, and other organizations, where curriculum development and hands-on learning experiences were key responsibilities. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Conservation from Bangor University.
