Jim Engle

Jim Engle has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Jim began their career in 2003 as a Maintenance/Janitor at Grandview Park Baptist Church and School. In 2006, they transitioned to become a Missionary at Baptist Mid-Missions, where they served until 2012. Jim then worked briefly as a TE Carrier at the United States Postal Service before joining Faith Baptist Church as an Assistant Pastor from 2015 to 2016. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at Durham School Services as a School Bus Driver/Mechanic and later as a Mechanic. Jim also served as the Director and Co-Director at Raccoon River Bible Camp from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they became the Family Facilities Coordinator at City Union Mission, and in 2019, they took on the role of Director of Facilities and Projects at the same organization. Additionally, Jim worked as an H.S. Math Instructor at Shawnee Mission Christian School for a brief period in 2019. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in facilities management, project coordination, teaching, maintenance, and leadership roles.

Jim Engle's education history includes a Master of Divinity (MDiv) in Theology/Theological Studies from Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary (2003-2006), a Master of Arts (MA) in Cross-Cultural Studies from Northland International University (2002-2003), and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Missions/Missionary Studies and Missiology from Northland International University (1997-2001). Additionally, they have an Associate of Applied Science in Electronics Technology from Monroe County Community College (1990-1992) and completed coursework in Electronics at Wayne State University (1993-1995). Jim has also obtained various certifications, including Certified Pool & Spa Operator, Motor Vehicle Inspector, OSHA-10, NFPA 101 Life Safety Essentials, American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate, EPA Section 608 Certification - Universal Refrigerant Handling, and CPR/AED/First Aid.
