Azwan Faris has extensive work experience in the culinary field. Azwan started their career as a Kitchen Assistant at the Grand Lexis Port Dickson in 2016, before moving on to work as a Commis at M&M Consolidated Resources Sdn Bhd. Azwan then joined the palace of the golden horse as a Kitchen Assistant in 2019. In 2022, Azwan became a Culinary Lecturer and Programme Leader at Innovative International College, where they worked until early 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Program Culinary Arts at City University Malaysia, starting in April 2023.
Azwan Faris completed their education in a chronological order. Azwan first obtained a diploma in Culinary Arts from Universiti Teknologi MARA during the period of 2015 to 2017. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Management in Culinary Arts from the same institution from 2017 to 2019. Finally, from 2020 to 2022, they completed a Masters in Gastronomy, specializing in Culinary Arts and Related Services, also at Universiti Teknologi MARA.
