Melissa McGann Cilley has a diverse background in corporate partnerships and strategy. Melissa began their career in 2003 at Intrax Cultural Exchange, where they managed over 100 partnerships with overseas organizations and led international recruitment events. Melissa then worked at Dod's Parliamentary Communication in London as an intern. From 2008 to 2014, Melissa served as a Senior Account Supervisor at Cone Communications, where they developed social impact strategies for companies like Hilton Worldwide and AARP. Since 2014, Melissa has been with City Year, starting as Director of Corporate Partnerships, then promoted to Senior Director of National Corporate Partnerships and Strategy, and most recently, Vice President of National Corporate Partnerships Strategy. In their current role, they oversee a $14 million portfolio and manages partnerships with leading companies to support a national education organization's mission. Melissa's experience demonstrates their expertise in building and maintaining relationships, driving business and social goals for corporate partners, and delivering excellent client service.

Melissa McGann Cilley completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued further studies at Boston University from 2006 to 2008, obtaining a Master's degree in International Relations and International Communications.
