Jac Joubert

Jac Joubert is the current Head of Actuary at Cityblock Health. Prior to this, they were an Advisor at amedico from October 2016 to December 2018 and a Senior Principal and Consulting Actuary at Oliver Wyman from July 2013 to January 2019.

Jac has extensive experience in advising large employers, health plans, health systems and state agencies, providing actuarial and analytic-based input to support business initiatives and decisions. Her areas of focus include product strategy and pricing, evaluating vendor and medical management programs, provider and partner contracting options and risk adjustment.

Under their leadership, the Chicago location of Oliver Wyman’s Health Actuarial Practice grew significantly, with a consistent revenue growth and expansion of the local team to more than 10 practitioners. Her work at Cityblock Health is continuing this trend, making their an invaluable asset to the company.

Jac Joubert has a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, a BComm (Hons) in Actuarial Science from University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, and a BComm in Insurance Science from University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria.
