Sarah Kaufman

Sarah Kaufman is an experienced professional in urban planning and transportation, currently serving as the Executive Director of the NYU Rudin Center for Transportation and an adjunct professor at NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Kaufman leads initiatives that enhance transportation through technology and is also a commissioner at the NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission. Engaging as a public speaker and mentor in smart cities, Kaufman has delivered keynote talks and participated in various panels, focusing on urban mobility and infrastructure. Previous roles include contributing writer for Forbes and technical reviewer for the MTA Genius Challenge. Kaufman holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Urban Planning with a focus on Tech Infrastructure from NYU and an MBA in Technology & Innovation Management.
