Alison Lee

Alison Lee has a decade of startup experience in product and operations. In 2021, they began working as the Director of Finance and Operations at Citylitics Inc., a post-Series A scale-up company. In this role, they deliver critical sales intelligence on local utility and public infrastructure markets. Alison also serves as the Strategic Operations Lead. In 2020, they became the Director of Operations at Breathe99, a leader in high quality, everyday respiratory protection. Alison manages supply chain operations, leads the filter products, and collaborates on communications, partnerships, and customer care. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Product and Operations Consultant at alisonlee.ca, specializing in product and operations for early-stage companies. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at Nymi, transitioning from direct-to-consumer to enterprise customers. Alison was responsible for documenting product requirements, strategic product roadmap planning, managing agile sprint teams, writing technical and marketing documents, and customer account management. As the Associate Product Manager, they conducted user research, designed software and hardware features, managed iOS and Android apps, and provided customer care.

Alison Lee completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) Honours Nanotechnology degree from the University of Waterloo in 2014. Alison then took Intro to HTML & CSS + Intro to Responsive Design & Advanced CSS and Cryptography I (online via Coursera) courses at HackerYou College of Technology and Stanford University respectively in 2015. In 2017, they obtained the Raw Signal Group Management Training certification from Raw Signal Group. In 2019, they attended The Second City Training Center for Improv and Storytelling Classes and George Brown College for Vegetarian Culinary Arts and Vegan Baking. Alison is currently enrolled in Wharton Online for Business and Financial Modelling, and obtained the Business and Financial Modeling Specialization certification from Coursera in May 2022. Additionally, they obtained the Advanced Google Analytics certification from Google in February 2020. Alison Lee also attended the TOPS Program at Marc Garneau CI.
