Deputy Chairman Of Civil Aviation Medical Board at Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore

Benjamin Tan serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Civil Aviation Medical Board at the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore since September 2011. Benjamin held the position of Medical Assessor at the Society of Aviation Medicine and Psychology Singapore from June 2018 to October 2022. Additionally, Benjamin Tan has experience as the President at the Singapore National Eye Centre from March 2017 to October 2022 and as a Visiting Specialist at Changi General Hospital from July 2019 to June 2022. From July 2017 to June 2022, Benjamin Tan was the Chief Air Force Medical Officer for the Republic of Singapore Air Force and served as Vice President of the Singapore Aviation Medicine Society from May 2017 to May 2018. Benjamin Tan earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore and a Diploma in Aviation Medicine from King's College London.
