Scott Homer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Scott currently works as the Warfighter Innovation Chief at Civil-Military Innovation Institute Inc. Prior to that, they served as a Production Quality Engineer at GE Aviation, where they developed processes to certify EDM platforms and contributed to reducing plant losses. Scott also has a background in the military, having worked as an Operational Capabilities Director with the US Army and serving in various roles, such as Senior Operations Manager and Operations Specialist, at the 101st Airborne Division and 25th ID. Additionally, they worked as an Instructor at the Pathfinder School. Throughout their career, Scott has showcased strong leadership skills, operational management expertise, and a track record of implementing effective training programs and initiatives.
Scott Homer attended Liberty University from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Government with a focus on National Security. In addition to their formal education, Scott has also obtained several certifications. In December 2018, they obtained "The BRIEF 101" certification from The BRIEF Lab. In June 2021, they completed the "Operational Excellence Work-Out and Kaizen Facilitator" certification through LinkedIn. Scott further expanded their skillset with the "Jet Engines Basics - Quality Foundations" certification from GE Aviation in December 2021. Most recently, in March 2022, Scott acquired the "Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Fundamentals (ASME Y14.5-2009)" certification from GE Aviation.
