Lena Selzer

Lena Selzer is a Co-founder and COO at Civilla, a non-profit design studio focused on enhancing public-serving institutions, with a career spanning over a decade in design and innovation. Prior experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant and Lecturer at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford, where Lena coached graduate students and executives, and as a Design Consultant for The Design Collective, providing design solutions for various clients such as Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Philz Coffee. Additional contributions include work as a Design Researcher at Stanford ChangeLabs, leading ethnographic studies in India, and involvement in significant projects with organizations like iDE, focusing on mobile technology for Ghanaian farmers. Lena holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Earth Systems from Stanford University.
