Fred Kayser has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Fred most recently worked at Civitas Resources as a Field Compliance Lead starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Bonanza Creek Energy, Inc. for several years in various roles including Specialist, Field Compliance, Lead, Field Compliance, and Field Compliance Technician. Fred also has experience as a Lease Operator in the same company. Before their work in the energy industry, they were the proprietor of Willow Creek Decor, where they creatively designed and manufactured custom steel T-Post furniture and decor. Fred marketed and sold these products through different channels. Fred also has experience as an Equipment Operator and Cattle Feedlot Manager at FK Enterprises, LLC, where they focused on oil field land reclamation and managing a beef feedlot. Additionally, they worked at Carrol Excavation as part of the Excavation and Pipe Line team, and they were involved in water and pipe line installation. Fred has also been involved in farming and crop production as part of FK Enterprises, LLC. Early in their career, they were involved in event production at Spicer Ranches Arena, producing team roping and barrel racing events. Fred also served as the General Contractor for the construction of Spicer Ranches Arena. Finally, Fred has experience as a Ranch Manager at Quarter Circle 4 Ranch, where they leased and cared for cattle on a 1600-acre ranch and maintained various facilities.
Fred Kayser earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Education from Colorado State University, where they attended from 1991 to 1996. Prior to that, they received an Associate Degree in Agriculture, General from Northeastern Junior College between 1989 and 1991. Fred also holds additional certifications, including an Introduction to Incident Command System from FEMA and an Optical Gas Imaging Thermographer certification from FLIR Systems.
