Jim Norman

Jim Norman has worked in the software engineering field for over 28 years. Jim began their career in 1991 as a Consulting Engineer for American Electric Power. In 2002 they worked as a Member of Technical Staff for Siverion, and also as a Lead Software Engineer for Digital Motorworks. In 2007, they became a Programmer Analyst 4 for National Instruments, where they were the lead developer for database and web-facing applications for product activation, and architect and lead developer for a test procedure management system. In 2019, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer for Siemens and also as a Director of Web Applications for Civitech.

Jim Norman attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
