Jonathan Lane

Jonathan Lane currently serves as a Senior Advisor for Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy at the U.S. Department of Energy since October 2023. Lane has extensive experience in advisory roles, including positions at CIV:LAB and Impact Hub New York Metropolitan Area. Previously, Lane held several leadership positions at the Urban Land Institute, including Co-Chair and Vice Chair of the Technology & Innovation Council, and served as Vice President for Infrastructure Innovation & the Green Economy at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, focusing on economic diversification and equitable growth in New York City. Additional roles include leadership fellowships and internships related to urban technology and innovation. Lane holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, alongside a BBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
