Marielle Villar Martiney is a dynamic leader with extensive experience in political advocacy, sustainability, and community engagement. As the Founder and CEO of Legislative Llama, Marielle focuses on empowering Gen Z and Millennials to participate in social and environmental justice. Currently serving as Visiting Faculty at Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, Marielle is exploring the intersection of the built environment and environmental justice. With a history of impactful roles including Research Fellow at the Climate and Community Project and Director of Strategic Initiatives at GOOD OLD LOWER EAST SIDE, INC., Marielle has demonstrated a commitment to climate action and community-building. Marielle's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Princeton University and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University, with a double-concentration in Sustainability Management and Environmental Policy.
