Physics Content Specialist at CK-12 Foundation

Jennifer Pallister has a wealth of work experience. In 2008, they began their career as a Catering Assistant for the National Trust. In 2012, they took on an internship with EDF Energy as a Summer Intern, where they performed dose calculations and verification of others' work. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Postgraduate Researcher at the University of Leeds. Jennifer then moved on to the University of Bristol as a Trainee Teacher - Secondary Physics, where they learned to structure learning objectives using Bloom's Taxonomy. In 2016, they became a Teacher of Science at a Secondary School, teaching general science from age 11-16 and A-Level physics from 16-18. Jennifer then joined Study.com in 2019 as a Content Generalist, and was promoted to Senior Content Generalist. Most recently, they have been working as a Physics Content Specialist for the CK-12 Foundation since 2022.

Jennifer Pallister attended Farlingaye High School from 2002 to 2009, where they obtained their High School diploma. Jennifer then went on to Imperial College London, where they earned a Master's Degree in Physics from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they attended the University of Leeds, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Low Carbon Technologies DTC from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they attended the University of Bristol, where they earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Physics Teacher Education, which they completed in 2016. In 2019, they obtained an Instructional Design: Adult Learners certification from LinkedIn.
