Artur Miguel Arsénio has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Artur Miguel is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at CLADE since March 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Product Management PAT, Automation & Software at Sartorius from 2019 to 2023.

From 2016 to 2019, Artur worked as the Director of Global Innovation at Maxion Wheels, a Division of Iochpe Maxion. Artur Miguel was responsible for driving innovation within the company.

Before that, they worked as an Invited Professor at Universidade da Beira Interior from 2014 to 2016. Artur Miguel lectured on various subjects and conducted research in the fields of robotics, human-machine interaction, cloud computing, and the Internet of Smart Things.

Artur also served as the CEO of YDreams Robotics from 2012 to 2015. Artur Miguel played a crucial role in the company's robotics spin-out, producing swarms of mobile robots for industrial environments, retail spaces, and services.

Earlier in their career, Artur worked as an Assistant Professor at IST/Universidade de Lisboa from 2008 to 2014. Artur Miguel taught courses on computer networks, security, operating, and distributed systems. Artur Miguel also led various research projects and developed industrial prototypes.

Artur has also held positions at Nokia Siemens Networks SA (now Nokia) as an Innovation Manager and Research Expert from 2007 to 2012, and at Siemens SA as an Innovation & Solutions Manager, Chief Engineer from 2005 to 2007. Artur Miguel has also worked as a Senior Consultant at Arthur D. Little and as a Teaching Assistant at MIT.

Artur Miguel Arsénio began their education in 1994 at Fundetec, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or completed a specific field of study. From 1990 to 1995, they attended Instituto Superior Técnico, where they pursued a Licenciatura degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Following this, they enrolled in Instituto Superior Técnico again from 1995 to 1998 to earn a Mestrado degree in the same field of study. Finally, from 1998 to 2004, Artur Miguel Arsénio attended the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science.
